Welcome to the people’s Book Awards where anyone can nominate or vote for titles available on The Book Awards FaceBook page.
The Book Awards are a division of Acclaimed Books Limited based in Plymouth England.
These are the only book awards that are truly open to the book reading public. Ordinary people (including authors!) who wish to show their support for a particular title may do so by nominating or voting for it in our annual award competition. Not only will you find the work of established and emerging writers, but you can see their popularity from the votes in support of each title. Nominations include a link so that you can click through to a store or review site if you wish to find out more or purchase a title.

Nominate a book on the above page or promote it using the easy form here!
Winners can be found here!
Voting is open to everyone.
Titles will not be carried forward each year and must be re-submitted for subsequent award competitions. Previous votes will not be carried forward.
If a the title for which you wish to vote is already on Facebook, simply vote and ‘Share’ to encourage others to do the same. Books entered using our form will automatically be posted on The Book Awards Facebook page.
The Book Awards Facebook page can be found @thebookawards and you are also very welcome to leave a comment or review if you wish.
One small point though; we don’t encourage negative reviews. Why? Because there are plenty of sites where people indulge in pretty unpleasant ranting about the works of others. They seem to forget that authors are human and can be upset and/or demotivated by such remarks. Constructive criticism is fine if it’s done politely and is well intentioned, but comments that are clearly intended to hurt will be removed. If you don’t like a book, please just ignore it. The Book Awards exist to show appreciation of the author’s work, so even a one star rating is a positive endorsement.
The voting closes on the last day of each year. Winning titles are placed permanently on our winners section at The Book Awards. Each winning title will have its own page where comments and reviews can be left and with a purchase link for book buyers. Winning titles will automatically be promoted (as award winners) via our social media accounts to thousands of international followers.
Anyone is welcome to nominate a title, especially the authors themselves. You simply add the title and author’s name on our FaceBook poll and you may also use our ‘easy form’ to enter a cover image (at least 200 x 300 pixels), a link to the book on an *approved book site and a description. If a title is available on an *approved site, we know it will be suitable, so that is our only criteria. However, we reserve the right to delete any entries that are deemed to be unsuitable for a wide audience; at our sole discretion.
NB Details of winning titles must be entered using our Easy Form if the author wishes their title to be promoted on The Book Awards website. This may be done at the time of nomination or later but no later than 15th January in the year following the award.
*Currently approved book sites:
Any Amazon site
W H Smith
Barnes & Noble
The Book Depository
There are no charges or hidden costs of any kind.
Each year, the title that has achieved the highest number of votes will be added to The Book Awards website *(see above). In the event of a draw, both or all books will be deemed winners. The winning book(s) will then be permanently featured and advertised free of charge to the thousands of international book lovers who visit the website.
Guidance on how to make the most of the success is available for all monthly winners (thebookawards.com/awards/winners/winner-pr/).
So if you are an author, or a grateful supporter of someone else’s hard work, The People’s Book Awards are for you!
