Pongo, hands through the forest

Pongo is a fictional story about a young Orang-utan, which delivers a real world message about deforestation.

Written in a Disney worthy descriptive style, the reader will be transported to the rainforests of Borneo to follow Pongo’s journey as his beloved home comes under threat from a palm oil owner who is out to make money.

Never before has a fictional book been written on the plight of Orang-utans, so the reader now has an opportunity to connect with the characters in this format whilst better understanding the situation that is threatening the extinction of this species.

The characters are endearing, the story compelling and the take home message is one we can all learn from.

Endorsed by Orangutan Foundation International Australia proceeds from this book help the orphaned orang-utans at the care centre in Borneo.
