The story you will read is how this happened
PLANET EARTH WAS IS IN MORTAL DANGER! The rat population is on the point of starvation. Evil Dr .Beaufort has hatched a plan to take control of the rat race. His method is to commandeer all food products, replacing them with specially manufactured foods that are made in his laboratory. These specially modified foods are harbouring an additive chemical which, once consumed, allows him to strengthen his protection racket making the rat population totally reliant upon him. His intention is to create an overly inflated “Rat Tax” on all modified produce, which he intends to sell to all rodents, giving him the power to rule the entire population. Hector Duddlewell is an aspiring young rat. He dreams of being a hero and capturing the heart of Dr.Beaufort’s daughter, Felicity. He stumbles on the buskers known as “The Rat Pack” who influence his decision to go where no rat has gone before. Not wanting his friends and family to fall into the clutches of the evil Dr.Beaufort, Hector plans to defy all the odds and put a stop to the Doctor’s evil plot by becoming a RATstronaut. Will Hector and his fellow RATstronauts find food for rodent-kind on the space expedition and in so doing, defeat the evil Doctor? What part does Hector’s Grandfather’s book and a meteorite have to play in his adventure? Why does Hector’s grandmother’s ring become so important to him? WILL THEY MAKE IT TO THE MOON AND BACK BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE?
